Hyderabad, Dec 11 (IANS) Amid the bitter dispute in the family of veteran Tollywood actor M. Mohan Babu, his actor sons Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj appeared before Rachakonda Police Commissioner on Wednesday in response to the notice served on them while Telangana High Court granted relief to Mohan Babu till December 24.

The brothers appeared separately before Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu and gave an undertaking that they would not do anything which may lead to violence or precipitate the matter.

The Commissioner asked Vishnu not to deploy bouncers to create a tense situation. The actor was warned that legal action would be taken if the incidents of Tuesday were repeated.

Vishnu, who returned from abroad on Tuesday, briefed the top cop about the happening at the family house in Jalpally.

Earlier, Manoj, who is locked in a bitter fight with his father, appeared before the Commissioner and gave him a bond stating he would not create any trouble.

Mohan Babu, who was admitted to a hospital after the clash at the house, did not appear before the Commissioner.

He approached Telangana High Court challenging the notice issued by the Commissioner.

The court exempted him from appearance till December 24. Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu, who is also the Additional District Collector, had summoned Mohan Babu and his sons for a hearing about the cases booked against them at the incidents happened at their family house in Jalpally.

They were directed to appear in person on Wednesday to show cause as to why they should not be required to enter into a bond of Rs 1 lakh that they will keep peace for the term of one year.

The notices served to Mohan Babu, Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj mention that they have been booked under BNS sections 329 (4) (criminal trespass and house trespass) and 115 (2) (voluntarily causing hurt) r/w 3 (5).

Mohan Babu remained admitted in a hospital in Gachibowli. The 78-year-old, who is also a former Member of Parliament, was mentally upset and was brought to hospital with high blood pressure and anxiety.

Doctors also found a blunt injury under his eye. Manoj broke the gate to enter the premises after an argument with bouncers deployed there. After he barged into the house he was allegedly roughed up. Manoj had earlier lodged a complaint with the police that about 10 persons attacked him at the residence on Sunday.

The young actor reiterated that his fight was not for property as he was not relying on the family.

He claimed that he was fighting for truth. Stating that his father is like a god for him, Manoj alleged that his brother Manchu Vishnu and his associate Vinay trapped his father and painted him as an enemy.

Meanwhile, police arrested Vinay, who was named by Manoj in his complaint. Police were on the lookout for other accused in the case.
